Dr. Greteman's office is a participant in Medicare's diabetic shoe and insert program. For qualified individuals with diabetes, Medicare will pay for 1 pair of shoes and 3 pairs of protective custom supports per year. The program is designed to prevent some of the foot complications that can be associated with diabetes including ulcers, infections, and amputations.
